For the mid-semester break, we have sent out a new survey with improved questions to AUT students (classmates, friends and randomly selected). The previous survey was much too vague and we didn’t get much new data as most of the questions had fairly predictable answers.

We have decided to focus on a target audience. We discussed what would be more suitable and who will be more impacted.

• AUT Students
• BCT Students
• People who will attend the BCT showcase (including family and friends of students)

We considered it and focussing on BCT students could be good, but in this degree programme, we have a unique approach in terms of the learning and producing studio projects, compared to how things are delivered in other study fields. So we understand that students in the BCT would be able to comprehend the idea and work process we produce. We think maybe catering for students of all academic fields in AUT could work more, because we are considering a wider range of students and their points of view about the concept and how they would perceive this idea, it would be less biased.
